Engagement

A Message From PTP

When Jennifer first told me about her family business - Rinkoffs Bakery - I was of course intrigued and excited. The company was first set up in the early 1900s when Jennifer's great-grandfather Hyman came over from the Ukraine with little other than his skills as a master baker. Fast forward 110 years and Jennifer runs the firm's online business and marketing arm - as well as introducing some new baking recipes along the way! And what I loved about all this when we first chatted in their Crouch End flat was how Michael had embraced it all from the beginning of their relationship. Saying that, and with the images of tray upon tray of raisin Danish pastries, you can see why! So I was very much a kid in a candy store when we met up last Sunday at the Rinkoffs cafe in Vallance Road for their engagment shoot. I knew we were going to have a blast - and 3 hours later, having shot in their main bakery nearby, in Columbia Road flower market, outside the cafe and back at Ally Pally - I hope this selection of my favourite images shows that we did indeed have a laugh! Their wedding is next month and I can't wait. Although having eaten a dozen small pastries on the way home after the shoot I think I might seriously watch what I eat on the wedding day!
